You can check for new AllForJoomla extension versions in your Joomla administrator area or on the extension's product page. Email notifications can also alert you when a new release is available.
🔎 Check for updates in Joomla
- Sign in to your Joomla administrator area.
- In Joomla 4, 5 or 6, open System and select Extensions in the Update panel.
- Click Check for Updates or Find Updates, depending on your Joomla version.
- Look for your AllForJoomla extension and compare the Installed and Available version numbers.
In Joomla 3.10, open Extensions → Manage → Update and click Find Updates.

- Find your extension in the AllForJoomla extensions catalogue and open its product page.
- Check the listed version and review the Changelog.
- Compare that version with the one installed on your website.

📧 Enable email notifications
Open your AllForJoomla orders, find the extension and enable the option Notify me by e-mail when there is a new version of this extension.
Email notifications let you know about new releases. You still need to install the update on your website.
🔄 What if Joomla does not show the new version?
If a newer version is listed on AllForJoomla but is missing from Joomla's update list:
- Run a fresh update check in the Joomla administrator area.
- Check that the extension's update site is present and enabled in Joomla's Update Sites list.
- Review any messages about problems reaching the update server.
- Confirm that the new release is compatible with your Joomla version.

✅ Before installing an update
Make sure the extension is activated according to its documentation and your Updates & Support period is active. Create a backup of your website files and database before updating.
