This error appears due to the Joomla SSL certificate is unable to verify the server's SSL certificate. We have added a workaround of this issue in the latest version of the extension, so in most cases just updating the extension to the latest version will fix this issue.
But on some webservers it won't work, because they still try to verify the SSL certificate despite the instructions not to do it. If your website's webserver still throws this error even when the latest version of the extension is installed, please go to admin area, and turn OFF the "CURL SSL verify peer" option in the component settings.
If this still won't help, please turn OFF the "Use secure protocol (HTTPS) for API requests" option in the component settings.
If you still experiencing some issues or have some questions regarding our extensions, please don't hesitate and send your request using the form at the bottom of this page.
